Résumés and cover letters are a matched-set. They need to be customized – not only for each client, but even more importantly, for each position for which the client is going to apply. That's where I come in. I have a series of questions that reveal the client’s strengths, talents, weaknesses, and goals. Those serve as the foundation for the résumé. Then, I go one step further and highlight the skills and attributes that will attract that specific potential employer’s attention.
Through my training to become a Nationally Certified Resume Writer (NCRW) , I have honed my résumé writing skills. First impressions matter especially at the résumé level; if the employer's interest isn't piqued by the top half of the résumé, they're not going to read the rest.
