About Me

I create classic, but unconventional, jewelry. I also love to recycle vintage findings to use as a finishing touch to my work.

My  jewelry is designed with a focus on symmetry, texture, and color. I make each piece myself and I take the time to do it right. My attention to detail assures the wearer that what they have is hand crafted and high quality; no two pieces are the same.

  • These links are important to me for a variety of reasons...

    • The Barn Swallow
This is a wonderful gallery of Mary Ann Burk and Janice Arone's pottery that showcases work of other local artisans - including me.
    • CATEC
This is where I love going to work every day. It is the career and technical education choice for high school (and post-secondary) students in Charlottesville, Virginia.
    • The Artisans Center of Virginia
This is a gallery of artisans in Waynesboro, Virginia and, recently, I was asked to become a member.
    • Inleaf - Lotta Helleberg
"A collection of lovely objects that brings the deceivingly simple beauty of nature into everyday life."
    • John Grant's work
"Botanical Imagery" John shows his work at the Barn Swallow and it is such fun to listen to the customers who are seeing his work for the first time; they literally gasp!
    • Misty Mawn
Misty is an artist from Erie, Pa - just like I am - and she sells her work at the Barn Swallow also.
    • Leslie Banta
Leslie's "abstract paintings and art in boxes" are displayed at the Barn Swallow.
    • Warm Springs Gallery
I had the pleasure of doing a holiday show with Lotta Helleberg in 2006 hosted by the Warms Springs Gallery.....what a wonderful place and a very special little town.
    • House Sit 4 U
My friend, Alexes Echols, does house sitting, so for those of you who have critters, here is a great option!
    • The Red Door Studio
The Art and Poetry of Tracie Lyn Huskamp; this little shop is filled with treasures that are inspired by nature.
    • Faith Mountain Farm
Faith Mountain Farm - home of creamy and gentle handmade goat milk soaps and lotions.
    • Jim Spillane - Photographer
I discovered this photographer at the Barn Swallow and there was one photograph of a little Tibetan girl that I fell in love with; I had a visercal reaction to it. I bought it because I just "had to take her home with me." His work is haunting.
    • Ray's Rustic Furniture
All of the rustic furniture is carefully handcrafted by Artist, Ray Pope of Inverness, FL. Rustic tables, benches, chairs and beds are made from cedar, cypress, black walnut, camphor, sweetgum and other assorted wood. Each piece is signed and numbered.
    • Wyn Easton
His paintings of Topsail and the surrounding areas are incredible.
